How much does it cost to rent a washer and dryer?

Our monthly rental pricing is straightforward:

Used washer & dryer set: $75 per month

New washer & dryer set: $95 per month

Washer or dryer only: $45 per month

Pricing is billed as a subscription and does not include the one-time delivery fee.

Can I rent just a washer or just a dryer?

Yes. We offer individual washer-only or dryer-only rentals. Single-unit rentals follow the same rental terms and service standards as our full-size sets.

Do you service my area?

We currently provide service to customers located within approximately 50 miles of Atlanta, Georgia. If you are unsure whether your address qualifies, feel free to contact us before booking.

What type of appliances do you provide?

We offer full-size residential washers and dryers, with each unit measuring approximately 29 inches wide. At this time, we do not carry stackable or compact units.

What brands do you offer?

Our inventory includes reliable, well-known brands such as Whirlpool, GE, and Maytag. Specific models are based on availability.

Service & Troubleshooting
My dryer won’t start. What should I check?

If your dryer will not start, please check the following:

Confirm the dryer door is fully closed

Make sure the power cord is securely plugged in

Verify the laundry room breaker is switched on

Ensure the timer or cycle selector has been properly engaged

If the issue continues after checking these items, please submit a service request or call us at 470-823-1848.

My dryer runs but does not produce heat.

If your dryer is running without heat:

Confirm the cycle is not set to “Air,” “Cool Down,” or “No Heat”

Check that the breaker is on

Make sure the lint filter is clean

Confirm the exhaust vent is not blocked or kinked

If clothes still are not drying properly, contact us for service.

My dryer isn’t drying clothes fully.

Drying issues can often be resolved by:

Adjusting the dryness level on automatic cycles

Adding time to timed cycles

Reducing the size of the laundry load

Cleaning the lint filter and checking the vent hose

If problems persist, please reach out for maintenance.

My washer won’t start. What should I check?

If your washer does not start:

Ensure the lid is fully closed

Confirm the power cord is plugged in

Make sure hot and cold water valves are fully open

Check that the breaker is turned on

Verify the cycle selector has been properly set

If the washer still will not start, contact us for assistance.

My washer won’t fill with water. What should I check?

Please check that:

The washer is plugged in

The breaker is on

Both water supply valves are fully open

The previous cycle has completed

If the issue continues, please submit a service request.

My washer won’t spin.

If your washer is not spinning:

Make sure the lid is completely closed

Confirm the washer is plugged in

Check that the breaker is on

Verify the cycle has been properly selected

If the problem remains, contact FreshStart Appliances for service.

Accounts & Payments
How do I make a payment?

We accept debit cards, credit cards, and ACH bank transfers only.

The payment method used at installation will be automatically charged every 30 days. You will receive an email reminder approximately 7 days before each billing date, along with a link to update your payment method if needed.

What is the minimum rental term?

All rentals require a minimum 6-month commitment, as outlined in the rental agreement.

When are payments due?

Your rental payment is due every 30 days from the installation date. For example, if your appliances are installed on the 15th, future payments will be due on the 15th of each month until the rental ends and the equipment is picked up.

What is your late payment policy?

Payments not received within 5 days of the due date are subject to a $25 late fee.

If payment is not made within 15 days of the due date, the account may be subject to early termination per the rental agreement.

Will I ever own the appliances?

No. Rentals are not purchase agreements. All appliances remain the property of FreshStart Appliances. Purchase options may be available after the initial 6-month rental period, depending on availability.

Moves & Pickups
I’m moving and want to keep renting my appliances. What do I do?

Please contact us at 470-823-1848 to schedule a professional move of your rented appliances. Customers should not attempt to move the equipment themselves. Additional service fees may apply.

How do I schedule a pickup?

To return your appliances, simply call 470-823-1848 to schedule a pickup with our team.

When should I schedule a pickup?

If you are moving out, we recommend contacting us at least two weeks in advance to ensure timely pickup or relocation.

Delivery
How soon can I get delivery?

Delivery is scheduled on a next-available basis and is often available as soon as the next day. Availability varies, so booking early is recommended.

Are there any additional fees?

A one-time $55 delivery fee applies. There are no additional charges for installation or routine maintenance during the rental period.
